MEET THE TEAM

Megan Cyrus: Owner
Hello! My name is Megan Cyrus, I grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and attended a veterinary nursing program at Ancilla College where I achieved my Associates in Applied Science of Veterinary Nursing. I grew up with a strong love for all fur babies, and caring for animals is my main goal! I moved to Helena, Montana in January with my spouse and our two dogs, Daisy (black Labrador/plott hound), and Buster (yellow labrador). Outside of playing with all of your awesome pups, I enjoy horseback riding, crafts, and enjoying time with my dogs!

Nathan Edge: Assistant General Manager

I'm Nathan Edge, and I'm originally from Atlanta, GA. After working in various marketing roles over the past decade, my life took an exciting turn when my wife and I (along with our doodle, Amos!) relocated to Helena in October 2022. After the move, I decided to take the plunge and follow my lifelong passion and dream of working in animal care, and I joined the SkyHi team after New Year's 2023. It's been a wonderful year getting to know all of your dogs, and I look forward to playing with them every day!

Krista Alcock: Daycare Specialist
Originally from Ohio, Krista grew up knowing she wanted to pursue a career with animals and fell in love with dog training when volunteering at local animal shelters. She moved to Helena to attend Carroll College and recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthrozoology and a minor in Psychology. Throughout her time in college, Krista gained experience training shelter dogs, focusing on obedience and agility. She also spent her senior year training a latex detection dog. Krista intends to pursue a career in dog training with a special interest in allergy detection dogs. In her free time, Krista enjoys exploring Montana with her Border Collie, Georgia, as well as training for Trick Dog titles!

Allie Carr: Daycare Specialist
I have lived in Montana for about 10 years, and I am currently about to graduate from Troy High School. I made the choice to complete my senior year online instead of in person.  My whole life I have owned dogs and have always loved them! Until recently, I never thought about working with dogs. But ever since I started working at doggy daycares I never wanna stop! I have learned a lot and find all the different personalities dogs can posses so interesting. On that note, I have been interested in pursuing an education in training  and potentially have it be my future career.
Some facts about me: I mainly enjoy being in the outdoors (kayaking, hiking, floating, four wheeling and more) and traveling. I currently own three family dogs: 1 year old German Shepard (he is so perfect and we got so lucky with him), 4 year old Border Collie Mix (also very smart and such a sweet girl!) and a 12 year old Rottweiler (cute, chunky girl that I have had since kindergarten and is the best dog ever)!

Lily Andersen: Daycare Specialist
Hi, my name is Lily, I started working at SkyHi in February 2023 and loved every day since. I have dreamed of working here since I was a kid and I’m so honored to be a part of the team now. Working with dogs is fascinating to me, I love how willing they are to learn and watching them progress after lots of hard work fills me with joy. When I’m not at SkyHi, I love hiking with my two dogs, Delilah and Charlie, baking and doing anything crafty.

Emma Putman: Daycare Specialist
Born and raised in Montana, Emma has always had a passion for literature and animals. Both of which, she continued to pursue in her professional and personal career. Emma has worked at SkyHi since 2019 and has enjoyed it so much that she says it doesn't even feel like work! In 2023, Emma graduated with a degree in English Literature from Carroll College then went on to teach English as a second language with her corgi, Winter, in France until spring of 2024. Now that she's back in Helena, she's more than happy to be back with her dogs against the beautiful Montana scenery. According to her, the perfect day is when she can ride her horses then come home and snuggle with her dogs - a good book and cocoa in hand.

Delaney: Trainer, Puppy Group Attendant, Daycare Specialist
While Delaney grew up in small town Washington state, she has since made Helena her home after attending Carroll College, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthrozoology in 2020. Delaney has worked at SkyHi cumulatively for over 4 years and loves watching all the pups grow up. One of her favorite things about working here is helping the dogs who have a difficult time settling into daycare thrive.  In her spare time, Delaney loves to hike, make a variety of crafts, and curl up with a good book. Her for-funsies New Year's resolution is to find snow at least once a month in 2025 (lots of hiking is planned!).

Delaney is our current trainer, so head over to the Training Page to see what SkyHi's training program has to offer!
