SkyHi is not a “traditional” boarding facility. We are primarily a dog daycare, offering our overnight boarding services to our regular, established daycare clients!

​​Open-play daycare and a complimentary report card are included with each boarding day! They will be out playing with their friends in the daycare groups for most of the day, aside from their scheduled downtime and naps in their kennel. We encourage all overnight guests to have extra rest while under our care, as daycare can be very tiring.

Interested In Boarding with Us?

If you wish to work towards boarding with us, let's chat! Our boarding process typically takes at least 3-4 weeks (if you're a new client) to ensure your pup will be happy and healthy over any future overnight stay with us. Here are our requirements prior to scheduling any overnight dates:
  1. Initial Evaluation: This can be done in the littles group, puppy group, or adult trial day group. See the Getting Your Dog Started page on our website to read about how our initial evaluations work and get registered with our booking software if you have not already!
  2. Minimum of 3-4 Visits: Including their initial assessment, a minimum of three visits is required before booking an overnight stay. This includes:
    • Initial evaluation (must pass their trial day)
    • 1-2 play-dates (half day daycare) in the morning or afternoon
    • Full Day (with a kennel test)
      • The kennel test is conducted in our overnight boarding area in either a wire crate, a plastic crate, or a large upright kennel. It ranges from 30 min to 2 hours. A successful kennel test looks like a quiet pup who is able to settle down during the nap.
      • If your dog fails their kennel test, they are ineligible to board at that time, but we may be able to work with them to help them settle eventually over the course of their daycare visits or you can coordinate with our trainer to work on crating/kenneling at SkyHi. We've had numerous dogs fail their first test and work up to boarding successfully over the years!
Based on their behavior in the group over those visits and a successful kennel test, we will determine whether your dog is ready to board overnight with us. This ensures your dog is comfortable with our facility, there are no major behavioral concerns, and they will be well-adjusted for their overnight stay. We reserve the right to require additional daycare visits prior to boarding overnight on a case-by-case basis or decline overnight services if their behavior is not conducive to a safe overnight boarding experience.

Once established in our facility, all dogs interested in our overnight care must attend daycare regularly (2x a month minimum) and continue to stay comfortable in our overnight boarding area. This is to ensure all of our pups feel comfortable with our staff, routine, and environment, leading to happier overnight stays. 

What to bring:

We only need your pup's leash/collar/harness/etc and food for their overnight stay, but you are more than welcome to provide bedding (bed, blanket, etc)! If your pup has any medications, please bring those in with instructions. 

We do have bedding available if you prefer to leave their bedding at home. 

Pricing Information

  • $50 per calendar day for overnight boarding. You will be charged the same rate no matter when you pick up/drop off, so we suggest using the whole day!
    • This includes feeding, any medications, a report card, and a full day of daycare (with naps).
  • ​When we book an overnight stay, we take a 50% deposit to hold your spot (see Cancellation Policy for deposit returns).
    • For example, if the stay is 2 days, the total stay is $100. The 50% deposit would be $50 and the remaining total of $50 would be due at pick up.

Weekend Hours
Drop-Off/Pick-Up: 8:00 - 10:00 AM and 4:30 - 6:00 PM
The lobby may be locked outside of these times on the weekend.

Cancellation Policy

​We need notice of canceling or rescheduling your dog's boarding reservation at least 48 hours prior to the start of the reservation. If you cancel or reschedule within the 48-hour window, we reserve the right to keep the 50% deposit. Prior to the 48-hour window, the deposit can be refunded (as store credit or to the card on file) or transferred to a different reservation.
