She is currently working towards her dog training certification to develop her knowledge and skills with training to ensure she gives the best service SkyHi can provide! Kellie has been working at SkyHi as a daycare specialist and boarding manager for over 2 years now! In future, Kellie hopes to open her own boarding and training facility. During her free time, she enjoys taking her dogs, Lucy and Lilly, out on hikes and to the breweries around Helena! After graduating from the canine Anthrozoology program at Carroll College, Natalie earned her master's degree in Companion Animal Behavior and Welfare from Virginia Tech. While working with a variety of dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds, she specializes in helping dogs that need a little more time, space and understanding to respond positively to their environments. Our Philosophy
We seek to find what motivates your dog! We use treats, toys, and praise for motivation. Motivation is what drives behavior! Motivation also drives human behavior too! Our lessons put a big focus on training YOU, the humans! Your attitude and the time you choose to put in to your dog will decide how successful you dog is in training! Behavioral changes take time! We hope we can help you understand behavior from your dog's perspective for better communication as you progress. Whether you have a puppy, an adult dog, or a recent rescue, we want to show care and concern for your journey as a team!
