My philosophy: It’s all about joy. It begins with a respectful and cooperative training experience between you and your pup. Most "problem behavior" dogs are confused with what and how we ask them to behave. So, let's dig deep, find the root cause, and hit the basics. It’s not a step back; it’s a springboard to achieve a fun, well-balanced relationship for which your furry friend will thank you. I approach canine training with a 4-step process in mind: behavior consultation + goal setting + a training plan + training techniques = fun and engaging play-training sessions!
Dee is a student of evidence-based behavior analysis, modification, and positive reinforcement.

My philosophy: Training should ultimately be fun for you and your dog! I work with clients to help their dogs learn new tricks, modify unwanted behaviors, and strengthen the connection between dog and owner. Training is a lifelong process that begins the moment a puppy is born to the time that they pass away. My purpose in training is to assist owners at every stage of training, whether it's an energetic 8 week old puppy or a laid back 12 year old dog. Every dog has their own individual personality and responds to different stimuli. Using positive reinforcement, we will find what best suits your dog's learning style and work towards the goals we set for training!
Bio: I grew up in Washington state before moving to Helena in 2016 to attend Carroll College, where I graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthrozoology. During my time there, I fostered and trained a dog with the Lewis and Clark Humane Society as well as assisted with other training classes. With over 6 years of professional dog experience, I come with prepared with a background in training, behavior, and fun! I love meeting new dogs and establishing connections with everyone I meet.
Goals: One of my professional goals is to train an accelerant detection canine and one of my fun goals is to obtain my pilot's license.

SkyHi Philosophy
We seek to find what motivates your dog! We use treats, toys, and praise for motivation. Motivation is what drives behavior! Motivation drives human behavior too! Our lessons put a big focus on training YOU, the humans! Your attitude and the time you choose to put in to your dog will decide how successful you dog is in training! Behavioral changes take time. We hope we can help you understand behavior from your dog's perspective for better communication as you progress. Whether you have a puppy, an adult dog, or a recent rescue, we want to show care and concern for your journey as a team!
